So… I have been scarce around here, haven’t I?

We’ve been enjoying our vacation and have been spending more time outside than online, which, I suppose, is how it should be.

The previous five days here have been much like the first four I documented… beautifully warm, sunny and enjoyable.

On Thursday Brian and I drove about 45 minutes north to a tweet-up at Four Seasons Palm Springs, where I finally met my Twitter friend and wine aficionado Matt Horbund face-to-face after communicating through social media for almost three years!

The Four Seasons was A-MA-ZING.

The view… the service… the food… just totally top-notch all the way.

The staff was beyond attentive and the (very reasonably-priced) appetizers Brian and I shared were absolutely incredible.

On Friday Brian and I went jet-skiing in the ocean.

It was a little choppy and it got chilly the longer we were out there, but we had a great time, and it was cool to see the coastline from out in the ocean.

And, of course, we watched the gorgeous Super Moon rise.

It’s times like these I wish I had a higher-quality camera than my iPhone!

The weekend was more fun and sun… in fact, we haven’t had a rainy day yet! And I hear that even though spring has finally arrived, it’s still quite chilly back home in Rhode Island – so I’m going to soak up all the sunny, 80-degree weather I can!
