Puristics Diaper Rash Cream – Bye, Bye RED Bum-Bum!

So… Henry has the stomach flu.

My poor little Henry.

The worst part about it is that I’m away for work in NYC while he’s sick, and that’s not easy for me.  My husband called me on Friday and said that Henry had a very, very red bum.  That broke my heart.  The stomach flu is NOT easy for an adult, never mind a 2 yr old in diapers!  Since I’m way, the best I’ve been able to do is give the best advice I can give over the phone… although, this was the photo I received on Saturday of Henry…

Is that not the saddest photo? My little man. But, it was his bum-bum that Matt was most concerned about… Henry didn’t want to leave on a diaper, and well… that’s just not an option!

I told Matt to use Puristics Zinc Oxide Diaper Rash Cream.

It promises to heal, protect and seal out wetness… so I wanted to put it to the ultimate test when Henry really needed it the most. Not much works on Henry with his ultra-sensitive skin, so I was anxious to hear how it would work on him. I personally loved to see that Puristics Diaper Rash Cream was:
1. Naturally preserved
2. Contained no parabens, phthalates or sulfates
3. Had 98% natural ingredients

Those are 3 things that are important to me, especially since it’s going on my child.

But it’s what I found on the Puristics website that really made me feel good about using the Diaper Rash Cream… Specially micronized zinc oxide allows the cream to go on silky smooth but still provide an excellent barrier to moisture and wetness. Also features an essential oil complex of eucalyptus and rosewood oils for a calming and soothing experience for your baby with every diaper change.

As every mom knows, when your child’s bum-bum is red, the last thing your child wants on them is cream. As parents, we need something that is going to go on easily and smooth… but also WORK!

My husband’s been using the Diaper Rash Cream on Henry since Saturday, he said that his little bum-bum looks much better, an almost overnight change. It kills me not to be able to be home to take care of him. I keep counting down the days… only one more to go! But I feel good knowing that we’re doing everything we can to make Henry feel better. Thanks, Puristics!

Disclosure: I am currently working as a spokesperson for Puristics.
