It’s 4 weeks into the Clean Start Challenge that I’m doing with Lifetime Moms and SC Johnson… 4 weeks!  I cannot believe how fast the time is ticking by already!

This week is all about our progress… how we’re doing and where we are in the process.

I’m excited to announce that the progress for my Clean Start Challenge to INCREASE LITERACY is going really well!  This week my video is all about what I’m planning to do at the preschool I chose for my challenge.

We’re going to be making a Reading Garden on the grounds of the preschool for the kids!

I had my husband shoot my video this week at the preschool… as you can see, it’s a little snowy!

I am really excited about creating this Reading Garden to help increase literacy for 5 reasons:

1. It’s going to be an ongoing project with the YMCA, even after the Clean Start Challenge is over!  The YMCA community is so excited about it.

2. We are going to be naming it after the woman who started the preschool program at the YMCA.  She will be honored on the 10th of March when we “unveil” it.

3. I’m excited to be the local YMCA families involved in the creation of it!

4. Seeing the excitement on the teachers when we have meetings about it.  They plan to use it for school and camp throughout the summer.

5. That this will make a difference in our community because there’s nothing like it.
