My Winter Obsession: Columbia’s Women’s Heat Elite Jacket.

I cannot get over the functionality of this jacket, it’s AWESOME. I’ve been wearing mine every day for the last 3 weeks… non-stop.

So why do I love this Heat Elite Jacket?

There are 3 main reasons for me…

1. I love the look of the Jacket!
The fashionista in me, right? LOL…
I love the look because it’s sleek and the Jacket contours to my body, it really does fit like a glove.

2. It’s ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT.
You would never in a million years think that this jacket could and would keep you so warm. It’s as lightweight as a fleece!

3. OMNI-HEAT Thermal Insulation.
I wasn’t sure what Omni-Heat was when I first got this Jacket. Columbia does a great job at explaining this incredible feature in the Jacket – Omni-Heat® thermal insulation boasts the highest heat retention in the industry, and the Heat Elite has 60 grams of it, along with a thermal reflective lining to capture and reflect your body heat. It’s cut from wind resistant bonded fleece with sleek side softshell panels that lend a slimming effect, as well as added breathability and mobility. The cozy brushed tricot collar provides the perfect spot to bury your face when arctic gusts come through while Omni-Shield® advanced repellency keeps light rain and stains at bay.

Living in New England, I’ve always thought the bigger the jacket, the better. Well, obviously that’s not the case.
