Brillo goes PINK, too.

There’s only one week left of October. If you’re anything like me, you’re wondering where it went!

Throughout October I’ve been talking about brands and companies going PINK in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I think it’s incredible that brands and companies are doing something so positive in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

I’ve been talking fashion and beauty brands throughout the last few weeks, but it completely surprised me to see Brillo going PINK. I (literally) use Brillo pads all the time in my house. Besides washing the dishes off and the sink, I also love to use Brillo pads on my breakfast table. There always happens to be new yuckiness on the table after a long day with the boys, so my Brillo pads help me clear everything off! (I love it!)

So how is Brillo getting involved?

Brillo has introduced a new look for its world-renowned soap pads, which will include more soap in each pad, new packaging and a return to the traditional pink soap for the original soap pads, and new yellow soap for the lemon scented soap pads. To celebrate the return to pink, Armaly Brands has entered into a partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and will be donating five cents for each purchase of specially marked packages of Brillo products up to $50,000.

As moms, we have to know a thing or two about cleaning… it’s not always the funnest part of our “job”, but it’s nice to see that something good (besides a clean kitchen) can come from buying Brillo!
