Are you ready for FALL?

I have to admit… I absolutely am.  The weather in New England has been so crazy lately.  We had a heat wave last week (seriously, it was in the high 90’s) and now this week we’re back to the high 70’s, low 80’s.  I’m ready to put the shorts away, my sundresses away and the bathing suits (completely).

When I was in college, I used to waitress in the summers at a local pub.  Living on campus throughout school was great because I never had to worry about rent, buying food (the food plan was a beautiful thing) and/or the usual bills that go along with living on your own.  Pretty much every dime I made went into buying clothes.  J.Crew was my fashion love of choice back in the day…

J.Crew has clothing that is classic, elegant and sophisticated. Plain and simple. Over the past few years, I have loved seeing the evolution from go strictly preppy to chic-ly preppy. There’s nothing like seeing a J.Crew Fall Collection… they capture the essence of Fall with chunky sweaters and warm colors and absolute coziness perfectly! This past weekend I was scouring the site for some last minute summer sales and couldn’t get myself away from the “new arrivals.”

Here are 6 sweaters that I have put on my “must have” list for the Fall. (And let me just add, I love that the ruffle is still “in” this season.) They consistently take a basic cardigan and make it “different” every season, I love, love, love it!
