Carnival Cruise Day 3

We woke up this morning before the boys… I almost have to repeat that again in my head just to let it sink in. We. Woke. Up. BEFORE. The Boys. That never, ever happens… and it was 8AM. The boys were so exhausted from a day of swimming and running around yesterday that they were just pooped and so ready (and needed) a good sleep.

After we got the boys up and out of bed, we headed up to the pool. Nobody was on deck yet, so it was nice to have the pool pretty empty. Colleen and her family were there, too – so it was nice to have the kids all swim together. Henry wore his “trademark” goggles and William, Alex and Ben had so pool fun with Matt!

After we played in the “big” pool, we went up to the top deck so Henry could splash around in the kiddie pool. I love the kiddie pool because it’s small and only 12 inches deep. Perfect for little kids!

And then… the big thing for us… we put the boys in Kid Camp this afternoon. I was SO NERVOUS about doing it, but I knew that they needed to have some fun on the ship with other kids. Plus, my husband and I really wanted to have a little relaxing time… which was wonderful, I have to admit. Carnival Cruise gives each parent a schedule of the Camp for that particular day. This afternoon was all about PIRATES! I knew the boys would LOVE that… so we took them down. They stayed for 2 hours and LOVED every single second. I really liked knowing they were together.

Now the boys are resting and I’m enjoying a beautiful view from our balcony…
