Beauty Advice: Does Eye Makeup Remover REALLY Work Well?

When I wear I makeup, I usually end up using vasoline at the end of the night to get it off. The vasoline was one of those “inside” secrets from a friend. It absolutely does get the makeup off, but it leaves that thick vasoline coating on my eyes.

I’ve never been a fan of eye makeup remover in a bottle, so when I saw pre-soaked eye makeup remover pads at CVS, I thought I’d give them a try. I’ve been wearing eye makeup to some events in this summer, and there’s nothing like waking up and looking like I have raccoon eyes the morning after. So… I tried it on out… and – of course, video’d it.

Thanks for the review! I’m running low on makeup remover and so I’m interested in seeing what’s out there.

Is the price point comparable to the oil free liquid in a bottle (like the CVS version of Neutrogena oil free?) I know on my oil free stuff it says to gently wash the eyelids afterward, because that silky, slippery feeling is actually cyclopentasiloxane, which I don’t want to leave on my skin for too long.

Didn’t the vaseline ever give you styes? yeeowtch!

Mary Kay’s eye makeup remover is my favorite… it’s light and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling at all.
