Some days are just meant to be perfect.

Yesterday, July 4th, 2010 was one such day. Kids and grandkids… all of them. Bonnet Shores. The beach. The sun. A colorful shade umbrella or two. Boogie boards. Pails and shovels. Warm, warm sand. A cool pool to be cool in. Snacks… lots of them. Outdoor grills. Burgers, ‘dogs and smores. A lively band playing every single 80’s hit wafting from the bar area. Tattoos. Hermit crabs. Beer, of course. A majestic sunset. A warm shower for the kids before heading home to bed.

And fireworks across the bay on the way home.
