Today a pretty incredible thing is going to take place.

77 mom bloggers – in 11 cities (Boston, New York City, Chicago, Syracuse, Philly, Danbury, CT, D.C., L.A., Pittsburgh, Minnesota, New Jersey) are inspiring kids to do good.

I’m proud to say that I will be among the Boston mom bloggers today, with my guys… inspiring kids in the area to do good. I just think it’s an amazing, amazing campaign. As I was cleaning up last night, I couldn’t help but smile as I thought about William earlier that day. He’s my oldest guy… the older brother of 3 little guys who think the world just revolves around William. Being on the swim team, he’s the youngest guy. Everyone towers over him and he’s like the “littlest brother” on the team. Quite a change for WIlliam. He had his second swim meet yesterday morning. After he swam his first race, he came over to me and asked, “Mom, how many towels did you bring today.” I answered, “4… one for all of you.” He looked over at his little brothers in the kiddie pool and then asked me, “Can I use the other 3 for now? My friends look cold.” It was an 85 degree morning… but I knew his heart was in the right place. He wanted to do some good for his “cold” older friends. As I watched him walk the towels over, my heart swelled. I wasn’t sure if the older kids would laugh at him… or ignore him. Much to the answer to my quick prayer, they all thanked him, patted on the back and let him pass the towels out as they all waited for their next races. He did some good… and so did they.

Today we’re going to be inspiring kids to do the same – throughout the country.
