StyleWeek Providence kicks-off tonight! It will be 7 days of pure fashion, design, beauty and culture… it’s a true celebration of the arts and the important role it plays in our life. All here in Providence! This is New England’s only fashion week, featuring a range of designers, introducing both new talent and latest collections from internationally recognized fashion houses to buyers and media.

I’m so beyond proud of my friend Rosanna Sinel for conceiving this idea and running with it. She’s changing the fashion-face of Rhode Island by bringing this event to Providence… and it’s a pretty incredible thing!

Growing up in Rhode Island… and in loving fashion… Providence has always been known as an “artsy” City. With Rhode Island School of Design in the center of the City, we’ve always been lucky enough to have some of the world’s best artists and fashion designers (quite literally) in our own backyard. And beyond RISD… there are such talented and amazing designers and artists in this “Renaissance” City. I am so excited that the light is shining on these amazing artists this week in Providence… it’s exciting and encouraging and incredible for our City.
