Shopafrolic with Liz Lange and Jane Wagman

I get to work with my sister Jane every day. Ever since Jane moved back from NYC, we’ve gotten to be together – working – non-stop. For me, it’s one of the best perks of the job!  Work-wise (and life wise) we complement each other beautifully.

So… I love seeing sister duos working together. There’s something very special and unique about it.

Enter Liz Lange and Jane Wagman.

I’ve always been a Liz Lange fan. When I was pregnant with my son William and living in NYC and working for Donna Karan, I wanted to look chic and fashionable for work. I basically lived at her store on Madison Avenue. It’s funny, I bought a black jersey knit dress back in 2004 with a scoop neck that I still wear now (not pregnant!). 6 years later… it’s still in perfect condition (her quality is amazing) and it’s one of the most versatile pieces I own. I pair it with a brown belt and wear it out all the time. I love it. When I moved back to Rhode Island and became pregnant with my son Benjamin… Liz Lange’s line at Target was my mecca. I wasn’t working in an office, I was now working from home… so I needed more casual clothing. Jeans… sweat suits… tees and tanks… I got everything from Liz Lange at Target – fashion meets practicality and affordability – can’t mess with that combination!

So… when I heard Liz started a new site with her sister, Jane (gotta love the name Jane!) – I was instantly intrigued.

SHOPAFROLIC is a personal shopping site.

The concept is very cool. They search for products. They select products. And every day they give their opinions on different products. The reason I love it is because you’re getting amazing commentary (and advice) from 2 women who know their stuff. The fashion perspective from each of them is refreshing, honest and just plain ole good advice. It’s a fun destination to pop into and see what’s going on. I personally love seeing that they’re featuring products at different price points, you get the logical buys all the way to the aspirational buys. It’s a very cool place to check out.

And if you haven’t seen Liz and/or Jane already… they’re pretty cool and hip chicks!
