Bloomingdale’s is doing a really cool thing now through April 25th. They’re teamed up with Rebecca Minkoff and have created the – Tote-ally Green design contest. What’s so cool about it is that YOU get a chance to design your very own reusable tote. You can be as creative as you want to be… you can go big and bold, soft and subtle, fabulously-chic, sweet and sexy… whatever inspires you, go with it!

I wanted to go big and bold. It’s a bag for Bloomies, so I wanted to make sure I added the Bloomingdale’s logo. On top of that… I wanted lots of colors!

After you create your tote, you upload it onto the Bloomies site and encourage people to come vote for your design. The more people you can get to vote, the better! The best part about creating your own reusable tote is the prizes! They’re absolutely incredible! Every day (for the next 3 days) Bloomies will be picking a daily winner.

Then the tote with the MOST amount of votes wins something that I would just go ga-ga over…

And then… the GRAND PRIZE winner (drum roll please… !) will have their tote produced by Rebecca Minkoff (insane, right!?) AND have their tote sold on bloomingdales.com. Isn’t that absolutely amazing? Not to mention… you score some Bloomies spending money, too!
