New Mom Gisele Bundchen (Brady) Talks to Vogue Magazine

Have you seen Gisele Bundchen on the cover of Vogue’s April Issue?

Um……. yeah, she looks gorgeous. Nothing new, right?

I will say… I went into reading the article by Joan Juliet with my eyes already rolling. Before even glancing at a word, I thought to myself…. what is a multi-ga-billionaire-super-uber-model-new-mom going to teach me about parenting?

Apparently the only thing we actually have in common are 2 things:
1) We both want the Patriots to do well.
2) We both love the name Benjamin (her son’s name).

(RIGHT… ?)

Well, apparently I was WRONG. The article was actually refreshing to read. She spoke about the love she has for her sons (she has a stepson with Tom Brady, too)… how she loved having her baby at home in a water birth… that she only trusts family to babysit… she spoke about the special tattoo star she has on her wrist in honor of her grandmother… and she really, really seems grateful to have the life she has, there didn’t seem to be an entitlement factor present at all. The girl’s worked hard to get where she is.

I will admit when I’m wrong, my eyes weren’t rolling after finishing the article.

But my eyes did roll with this photo of Gisele…
Did I somehow miss the memo on how to look like this 8 weeks post baby? 8 weeks post baby!!

She may be a natural beauty… but my God, she’s also a freak of nature!

Talk to me after she has four babies under five. Then I want to look at her belly. 😉

Wow! Um… yeah… that’s all I can say! No way would I EVER look like that 8 wks after a baby! Not without plastic surgery and some major fudging on the photos! 😉

Ah man, I tried to hate her until I read she had a waterbirth at home. My kind of gal. Too bad thats not the key or I would look like that too!

But it’s possible – I’m guessing that she has a long torso – I had a fairly easy time bouncing back post baby because each time, my kiddos were able to grow UP versus out because I had a lot of stretching room in my torso (I have short legs, so it’s a trade off).
    😉
She probably also had a really good, really expensive trainer.

I have a friend w/ 3 kids – each time she has a C-section and the doctor throws in a complimentary tummy tuck – so she walks out of the hospital with a totally flat tummy.

LOL – you have to be able to look like that PRE-baby to look like that at all post-baby! I love when people say stuff like that but forget that these women had AMAZING figures prior to getting pregnant and then did yoga, etc the whole time they were pregnant.
