The Little Red Dress

(*I’m so bummed… my video camera broke yesterday and I’m unable to do any videos today or tomorrow! Honestly… I feel naked! Not good for a blogger!  wink wink!)

You always hear people talking about the LBD (a.k.a. – Little Black Dress)… after all, it’s the best dress to have in your closet.  But after awhile, you may want to deviate from the LBD (especially around the Holidays!).  The reason the LBD is so popular is because it’s one of the most versatile pieces of clothing out there.  You can dress it up, dress it down – wear it ANYWHERE!  Not to mention – it can flatter any “BODY” depending upon the style/shape/cut of the dress.  The color black also conceals… which is the beauty of the LBD.  Want to hide something – you can!

But what happens when you want a little more excitement… fashion-fun… and umph! in your wardrobe around the Holidays?

Go Bold! Go Big! Go RED!

Red Dresses are GORGEOUS around the Holidays.  You want festive?  You want fabulousness?  Get a RED DRESS.  I bought one a couple of weeks ago and I’m telling you — I LOVE IT!  Red is a beautiful color to wear… it’s vibrant and stylish and a statement dress.

Here are some of my favorites – Sheath, Strapless, Long-Sleeve, Maternity, Cinched Waist, Wrap Dress and a little SEXINESS…

It’s amazing what a little color can do for you!

  1. This is too funny! On my way to work today I was thinking about my weight loss goals and I thought when I meet them I am buying a little red dress! Is this a sign or what????

  2. Hi Audrey,

The little red dress concept is great! I like how you showed different styles and different shades of red–blue and yellow toned.

I think some women look deathly in black, so I advise theme to choose a yellow-toned red or brown. Chic and fun!

  3. Ooh! I love that one on the top left! If only I had somewhere to wear it. I have a random question for you, Audrey. I have two wool coats I love, black and red. They are driving me nuts! No matter how much I de-fuzz them, after one wearing they look horrible. Any tips for keeping wool coats from getting so much lint and fuzz on them??
