BEST Products for your HAIR!

2009 Best of the Best for GREAT HAIR!

All my life I have had long hair (except for one horrible haircut in 1995 that I don’t want to talk about – flashbacks are too difficult for me)… therefore, I have tried tons and tons and tons of Hair products. I get a lot of emails asking about the best shampoos, conditioners, hot oil treatments, styling creams, hairsprays, etc…

I have really made it my mission over the last year to try and experiment with as many BEAUTY products as I can… so, of course… I’m left with a “favorite” LIST.

These are myBest of the Best for GREAT HAIR!”:

BEST SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER:
Pantene Pro-V – I have been using Pantene for years. I love it. I have very thick hair, this has been the only Shampoo/Conditioner DUO that works beautifully for me.

BEST ANTI-FRIZZ SERUM:

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum – I know I have blogged about this beautiful stuff before… but seriously, if you have a problem with frizz – this works miracles.  This is my go-to product! LOVE IT!

BEST BRUSH –

Goody Styling Therapy Copper Brush Paddle – With my thick hair, I need a brush that is going to stand up to the test… Goody has FABULOUS brushes.  I personally need the square paddle… but they have round brushes, different size brushes, different bristle lengths… you will LOVE them!

BEST FLATIRON –

It’s plain and simple – CHI.  It works miracles.  You want straight hair – you’ll get it.  Quick and easy.  I know it’s a bit expensive… but if you use it every single day (like I do) you will absolutely get your money’s worth!  I promise!

Picture 6BEST STYLING CREAM –

Suave SLEEK Anti-Frizz Cream – I love this product because it truly stands up to what it says it’s going to.  It styles your hair without having it look or feel heavy (or worse, wet!).

BEST HAIRDRYER –

I have been using CONAIR Hairdryers forever!  I am in love with the Infiniti right now – I never knew you could be in love with a hairdryer… 😉

BEST HAIRSPRAY –

Sunsilk – Hold Me Forever Hairspray – Simply because it does…

Best Hot Oil Treatment –

V05 – Nobody does it better than them!  Affordable and works like a charm!

Thanks for suggesting these. And might I add, I am so happy that this is not just a list of ultra expensive products. And at a time when alot of us are watching our pennies, it is good to know that you can look like a million bucks and not have to spend it.

I hope that your Christmas was filled with many blessings.

I have always heard from many hairdressers that Pantene is bad for your hair – especially for colored hair.

I do agree with you on your CHI straightener. I have the blow dryer too and I love it!

I’ve always heard only good things about Pantene, but for me just doesn’t work!

But I am planning to try John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum, because my hair is very dry..

Totally agree, Pantene is great! I also buy Dove shampoo + conditioner, and switch from time to time, they work as good as the expensive brands. Also agree on the Frizz-ease I use that or Citre Shine, wich works great! And the best conditioner OLIVE OIL before shampoo. I will have to try that brush! Thanx!
