Fashion Advice for Leggings (with brown boots).

With leggings being so “hot” right now, I’m getting some questions about what types/kinds of boots to wear with leggings.

One question that keeps popping up, “Do the boots have to match the color of the legging?”

My take? NO.

I think having a different color boot/flat with leggings is definitely a GO!

Just this afternoon I wore black leggings with brown boots. My new Zodiac (Kameron) brown boots from Famous Footwear that I got for $59.99 marked down from $129.99! So EXCITED!

I think changing the color up a bit (on the shoe front) adds a more playful tone to the outfit. Just yesterday I wore the same black leggings (I know, gross!) with black Riding Boots – I felt that outfit had more of a sophisticated look. Whereas today – I was lunching with a girlfriend and just wanted to kick-back and have some laughs! The boots reflected that ease… not to mention, I felt like I could kick a little butt in them! That’s always a good way to feel in shoes – well, sometimes!
