Fancast is my new TV.

Before I had kids, I was a TV junkie. I would get home from work, eat dinner and sometimes plop myself in front of the TV for a good 2-3 hours. Those were the days of Friends, Sex and the City, Frasier, Gilmore Girls and (way before kids) Cheers and The Golden Girls. That’s when I had something called “free time.” That’s something of the past.

My love of TV hasn’t changed, but my time has. By the time I get the kids to bed, clean the kitchen, get bags packed for the next day and finish my work, it’s usually around 10 pm. It’s just how my nights are right now. They’re busy.

But! There are still certain shows I cannot (and will not) miss. The short list right now? (No judging!)
1.) NBC’s Saturday Night Live (I’m ALWAYS sleeping by the time this show comes on!)
2.) ABC’s Modern Family (One of the funniest new shows on TV this season!)
3.) Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Laughs GALORE!)
4.) ABC’s Castle (One of my faves right now!)
5.) FOX’s Glee (A show I just started watching and CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF!)

So there’s my list. And right away… here are my problems with watching them (besides the fact that I’m either up with kids/cleaning/working or sleeping) –

Modern Family and Glee overlap.
Saturday Night Live is on too late.
My husband loves to watch Monday Night Football when Castle is on.
The local news is usually on during Jon Stewart

What’s a busy-mom-named-Audrey to do? I have fallen in love with Fancast. What I love about Fancast is that I can watch all my DESIRED shows online, right on my laptop. I can be anywhere, as long as I have internet connection. Do you know how amazing this is!? Honestly, Fancast is the reason I even got into the new show Glee. Everyone was tweeting about it and talking about it, but I knew the chances of catching it… or even watching a DVR’d show of it were slim. I’m hardly ever in front of the TV without my kids or my husband, so with the recommendation of Fancast, I get to watch the full episodes right on my laptop. Easy? Is there a word for beyond EASY?

Goodbye TV-land for moms.

Fancast is the new “dog” in town for me. There are literally over 13,000 full-length shows on Fancast, even old Friends episodes, which I absolutely love! I can catch up and reminisce all I want with my 6 “buddies.”

Not to mention I can get all my needed and daily doses of celebrity gossip (thank you Fancast peeps!), movies (yes, there are movies!), live chats, Q&A’s with celebs and a blog section. It really brings everything together. And I just love the fact that I can head over on my own time… and for FREE… watch all my shows and/or a movie. It’s easy. It’s convenient. And it’s doable. I can watch what I want at ANY time that’s better or good for me. I was watching some episodes of Glee (and probably laughing too loud) last week in Starbucks. It’s amazing to see how incredibly easy it all is.

So TV mamas — unite! Believe me, you’ll easily and quickly become a FAN of Fancast.

Thanks for the info! There are some episodes of House that I missed somewhere along the way. Maybe I can finally watch them!

Aren’t you dying over GLEE? I feel like a high school kid again, only in the best possible way.
