I’ve been getting a bunch of emails lately regarding hair elastics. I have mentioned a few times that I have ridiculously thick hair, I mean… really thick hair. With every pregnancy it seems my hair has gotten thicker and thicker. I do wear my hair up often because it’s easy. If I’m out and about with the kids, 99.9% of the time I have it up.  Otherwise the boys are playing hairdresser with my hair as I try and grocery shop.

So what are the best kinds of elastics? This seems to be the million question.

Believe it or not, I’ve searched high and low for some amazing hair products. I haven’t done this for Mom Generations, I’ve done it for myself.  I’ve really had to search around because I need something that’s solid.  I don’t like to use elastics with metal clasps because they always tug at my hair and pull it out.  (You know those unnecessary knots!)

So my GO-TO elastic band of choice — GOODY’s OUCHLESS ELASTICS.

They offer all different kind of options – extra-thick elastics, thick elastics, thin elastics, long elastics, reversible elastics, wave weave elastics and “regular” elastics. Again, what I love about Goody’s Ouchless Elastics is that they don’t hurt your hair. They’re… well, “ouch” less. And that’s a good thing in an elastic band for your hair. Actually – it’s essential.
