I do 2 loads of laundry a day. I wish I could say I’m exaggerating, but I’m not. With my 4 little boys and my husband, I’ve learned that if I don’t keep up on it daily, it gets out of control… and as any mother can relate, I don’t want that. So it’s literally just a part of my day. I run a load in the morning, and I run one in the evening.

I never imagined 4 little boys (4 and under) could stain their clothes this much. Each one of my little guys has their “stain” of choice. For William, my 4-year-old, it’s grass stains, hands down. He loves to slide into the bases out front and see how far he can jump. His shirts and pants and socks, always full of grass stains. For Alexander, my 3-year-old, it’s peanut butter. He could eat peanut butter on toast, sandwich bread, crackers and celery for every single meal. His shirts are usually covered in it; not so fun trying to clean peanut butter off clothes. For Benjamin, my 2-year-old? CHOCOLATE. The little guy loves chocolate granola bars, chocolate donuts, chocolate milk, chocolate chip cookies… and believe me, he tries to be neat, but you can never not see him without something stained on his clothing. And for my Henry – my little 13-month-old – it’s DINNER. Dinner usually stains his onesies and shirts and pants. My enemy? Lasagna and noodles. Problem is, he loves it… so I make sure he has it a couple nights a week.
