Throughout my life I have heard my mother say to me… “I’m proud of you.” It’s something I say to my own sons now.
But today I want to tell MY mother that I’m proud of HER. My mother competed in the Falmouth Sprint Triathlon in Falmouth, MA yesterday. She had put this on her “bucket list”… and never wavered in her desire and determination to compete in it and finish it.
Yesterday – SHE DID.
I couldn’t be more proud… or more envious. She rocked it the whole way through with a gigantic smile on her face… and always blowing kisses to all of us who came out to see her.
