There are certain things in my house that I cannot live without — (in no particular order):
Shampoo
Conditioner
Diapers (not for me)
Dishwasher Detergent
Toothpaste
Toilet Paper
Laundry Detergent
These items keep my house, and me, going. If one thing is missing (oh, please — not the shampoo and conditioner), it could potentially through the whole day off. OK, potentially. But here’s my other dilemma – with my 4 sons… it’s not so easy to just pop them all in the car and head out and grab my absolute essentials. It has to be a planned trip… usually with my husband – especially if I’m getting detergent, toilet paper and diapers. These babies need cart space… and with 4 kids (2 of whom are usually in the cart), there’s no extra space for those items.
So what’s a lady (mom) to do?
She can get in touch with Alice. (No, she’s not a babysitter.)
This is why I’m quickly falling in love with Alice.com. It’s an online shopping destination that is geared and set to making your shopping experience for household items (and beauty things — up my alley!) EASIER.
You tell Alice what it is you buy (you’ve seen my essentials) and Alice does the work. All of the products you choose (and need) are organized, ready to be brought directly to you. And that’s not the end of it. “She” finds the best deals for you. Yup, “she” does your couponing (thank you for this!). “She” knows when you might be running low on something you have previously bought and will make sure you’re aware of this. “She” brings all of this directly to you – with free shipping. And… most of all, “she” saves me time. Precious time. That is a gift within itself.
When it comes to sites that make my life easier, there are certain things I look for – is it easy to maneuver? Is it organized? Is it a place I would come back to again and again.
I am impressed with Alice.com. Enough so to pass on the word.
So get over to Alice. And start your shopping.
I just checked Alice out and I am SOLD on the idea! Not only is it a HUGE timesaver, it keeps me from impulse buying at Target AND saves me from lugging all my purchases home on the NYC subway! Thanks for the link!
Sounds like a GREAT idea!! I will definitely check this out!! And being the mom of 4 small children myself . . .well, I hope you know about http://www.1800diapers.com!! Diapers (lots of brands) and sooooo much more brought right to your door at free UPS shipping (for orders over $50.00) – and FAST !! My orders usually come in 2-3 days. When I last compared prices they were comparable if not a few cents cheaper than Walmart, supermarkets, etc. . . It’s a VERY great thing!! 🙂
So after reading your post, Audrey, I decided to check it out for myself and I am hooked. I never realized that I have 43 essential non-food products that I use regularly and I love that they are expanding into makeup and other essential items. I setup my free account, set up my products, and place my first order. Thanks so much for all you do to help us busy moms!
