I love Isaac Mizrahi. I have always been a HUGE fan! I was so excited to open this month’s (MAY 2009) Redbook Magazine and see story on him, concerning summer fashion!

As the new creative designer at Liz Claiborne, Isaac is bringing gorgeous colors to summer fashion.

I love this question and Isaac’s answer –

Can you name three things every woman should have in her wardrobe?

First, a good dress that is versatile – and that doesn’t mean it has to be black or khaki. It should be a color, like [a] wonderful bright orange. Also, a sweater set is a great thing too. It’ll take you to work, out in the evenings, anywhere. The third thing is a really good-fitting pair of jeans, which is not easy to come by. At Liz we strive to give women a snappy jean in an ageless style.

I agree with Isaac on all three fronts.  Let color become you.  Colors are everywhere this spring.  Choose ageless styles with new twists.  And remember that jeans really are the new black pants!
