A Croc Question.

I’ve talked Crocs before. Essentially, my blog post was – To Croc or Not To Croc.

Well, last week I came across a fabulous and funny vlog on NewBaby.com by Jendi of the blog Jendi’s Journal.

Jendi tossed out a “Croc” question… and well, I couldn’t help but answer it. Or, better put… give my opinion.

The question posed – Is wearing socks with Crocs a do or a don’t?

*I must say, socks with Crocs, in my book, is a don’t – especially with skirts or capris. Jendi has a good point, though; if it’s cold, what do you do? My suggestion – don’t wear them. Crocs should be worn with bare feet. They just look better. And please know, I’m coming from a pure “fashion sense” with my answer. If you’re looking for a good way to wear Crocs with socks… try them with jeans/pants/cargos (so nobody can tell).

GACK. I’m going to go a step further and declare that traditional Crocs should be reserved for yardwork or children under the age of 12. You By Crocs, on the other hand, make a gorgeous shoe. And I have recently received my first pair of Crocs flip flops which are very comfy and cute. But the garden clogs? No, no, no. Just no. 🙂

Oh, I should add that Crocs has some cute Mary Jane and slingback styles that are cute as well. But NO SOCKS. 🙂

I’ve got to agree with the above comment — crocs look terrible on adults!

AMEN!!! No socks w/ Crocs and none of the “original” Crocs.

    I do, however, adore my You by Crocs round-toe pumps… they’re sa-weeeet!

Wearing socks with crocs is like wearing socks with sandals. You tend to end up looking like the old man wearing shorts, a suit jacket and socks with sandals walking down the beach.

Crocs are a don’t, period. I’d rather go barefoot.

If I may so HUMBLY state my opinion….crocs make a ‘winter’ croc.

I don’t own a pair of crocs (but my kids do and my husband) but I must agree, crocs shall not be worn with socks. Unless worn with jeans or cargo’s.

OK. I’m raising my hand and solemnly promising to never wear socks with my Crocs again.

I’m having a giveaway this week for a pair of Croc shoes. Come check it out!

Come on Audrey, can’t you just say that Crocs are just a big no-no in general? 🙂 Ok, fine, but at least wear them only on your trip to beach or on your back yard when gardening.

I have to say that I love my crocs 😉 I’ve got the Malindi sling-backs and wear them constantly! So comfy.
