Boys' clothing… or men's

I was just recently asked by my husband where all of his t-shirts have gone. He can’t seem to find any of them…

Then I opened my dresser drawers, and there were about 10 of them. Whoops!

I just introduced my mother to the boys’ section at Target. The boys’ department has the best t-shirts and workout pants! I have been buying boys’ workout pants for years. A size large is the perfect fit, length wise, too!

So here’s my advice today — don’t be afraid to “branch” out into the men’s/boys’ department when you’re looking for t-shirts, workout pants, hoodies or tanks. I have had so much luck — not to mention the clothing is a little cheaper in the boys’ department! Always a HUGE bonus.

So go for it! Hey… let’s face it, it’s not like any man can walk into the girls’/ladies’ departments and find some good fashion finds!

I bought a pair of sandals from the boys department. I needed a pair of walking sandals that were cute and comfy. I wanted “fisherman” style and they no longer seem to carry them for women (or girls), so I got them from the boys! Women run 2 sizes larger [shoes wise] so I was able to get them for cheaper too 🙂

I’ve bought boy’s workout pants too. They were half the price of the equivalent girl’s workout pants!

I’ve never tried boys workout pants, but I do get the tanks. They are longer length. In our house of three teenage girls, I’m trying to instill modest dressing into them. The long tanks work great under the shorter shirts they want to wear. I’m so glad the layerd look is in!

Wow, Audrey. It’s my first time in your blog and you look gorgeous. I do also prefer workout pants and the tanks are comfortable.
