I’m heading to New York City this afternoon — by myself. It’s the strangest thing in the world packing for ONE when you’re used to packing for FIVE. I almost feel like I need to over-pack, just to feel some tug of “comfort!”

I will be speaking tomorrow at SocComm – The Social Communications Summit. I think what’s even more exciting for me is the topic that I have been asked to be on a panel called – “Being a Mom in the Digital Social Evolution.” It’s a new world for mothers… the social media world has become the “front porch” or the “stitch and bitch” for my generation.

So bags are packed.

Tickets bought.

And I’m ready to ROLL… !
