No, you are NOT M.C. Hammer

For Day #20 of my Fashion Advice for Moms, I’m showing you how to perfect the boot-over-the-jean style… and NOT be channeling M.C. Hammer in the process.

Saw this tweeted out and came to see because so many always ask! I use the hubbies sock routine! I love using his dress socks that fit tight. They really hold the jeans in place and take up little room themselves. Also! Added tip for when your jeans are a little long. Roll up a little then put on sock. They fit better and look better. Especially when it is a little ‘wider’ at bottom of jean. You can like fold in the sides before adding sock. So it comes out nice at top of boot.
Woop! I LOVE wearing my boots, have always loved the look!
    You look marvelous! 🙂

    Excellent suggestion!!
(Now I just need to lose a few more pounds so I can wear my straightleg jeans again.) Trouser pants do NOT tuck. NO matter how great they make your legs look.

    Thanks!

    This great advice!

I’m severely pear shaped so the skinny jeans ship sailed right past me. I usually buy a lower cut boot.

But if I wasn’t an amazon. (You have to know what works right?! 🙂 I’d be rock’en this.:)

    Enjoying the advice

Great advice. I was actually thinking of doing a video on this same topic b/c I posted about it yesterday. I actually roll my jeans up and fold them over and pull the socks on so they don’t bunch up. But I’m anal. 😉

Love today’s tip. Don’t tell anyone, but I think I’m getting new boots for my birthday tomorrow….so, now I can wear them without channeling, “Can’t touch this!”

LOVE IT:) You can also fold excess jean over to the side and then slide in for those who wear nothing but flares:)

You are so beautiful……I might become a stalker.
