Size matters

Audrey let me borrow a tank top this weekend. I was waiting in my car, picking her up at her house, and she ran out with a tank for me to put on.

It fit perfectly up top. The stomach? Wonderfully roomy.

Seriously, I was astonished at how much material gathered at my stomach.

“Wow, Tweightloss is really working for me!” I was thinking.

When I took the tank top off to shower that night, I glanced at the size.

It was a small. Score!

Then a particular word caught my eye…

Maternity. Motherhood Maternity, to be specific.

Well, it figures that after being pregnant for practically 4 years in a row, a maternity top would be most accessible to Audrey in her house.

It’s just too bad it had to be at the expense of my ego. 😉

  1. I swear… I wear those tanks YEAR ROUND and NOT PREGNANT! They are awesome! So soft. So roomy. So a must-have!! You crack me up!
    xo,

  2. That’s too funny! I kept a few maternity tanks and some really stretchy yoga pants that hit below the belly.

Too bad you had to see the label!

  3. Too funny! I accidently bought a shirt once from Target and didn’t realize I had made it to the maternity department, I ended up taking it back to make myself feel better!

  4. I bought a really nice pair of pants at the second hand store that were so nice and looked as if they hadn’t been worn very much. When my best friend read the label and recognized a well known (except by me) maternity brand she laughed and laughed at me.

  5. Ha! I did that last year with a maternity sweater that had somehow snuck its way in with my regular clothes. I was SO pleased, until it hit me why it fit so well.
