My son William has always loved the show Dora the Explorer.
As a mom, I love the show Dora the Explorer because it has taught William how to say some words in Spanish. He takes great pride that he can say words like “uno, dos, tres”…
Well… last night we were sitting on the couch reading a book. It was a book of first words. I innocently asked if he knew how to say “Hello” in Spanish.
But my William innocently answered back, “No… but do you know how to say ‘pe*is’ in Spanish?”
I burst out laughing.
And for the record, I do not know how to say “pe*is” in Spanish.
I’ve never needed to!
