Be a Winnah at Boston Accents Co.

September 21, 2007

OK, our Red Sox are having a wicked good season.

So we want to help educate any of you lucky dads who may be pulling for our beloved Red Sox as the season draws to an end.

Or just give you a really good laugh.

Boston Accents 101:

"bah" = bar (as in Cheers)
"losah" = loser (never use when referring to the Red Sox)
"pahty" = party (as in Boston Tea)
"traitah" = traitor (Johnny Damon)
"pahkin ya cah" = parking your car (before you hit the bahs, please)
"chowdah" and "lobstah" = chowder and lobster (what we New Englanders love) "pissah" = pisser (when the Red Sox lose)

The hilariously clever Boston Accents Co. gives the world a taste of Boston.

If you're not a native, it requires practice. Like wearing the words and phrases on your t-shirts and hats.

This excludes Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, but we'd love to see them in these "wicked awesome" tees.

Steeped in folklore and legend, the Boston accent is certainly one-of-a-kind.

Celebrate the "wicked" phenomenon of it all by proudly wearing your favorite Boston expression on a Boston Accents Co. tee or hat.

Believe us, you'll get noticed.

So don't be a total losah. Head on ovah to www.bostonaccentsco.com for a wicked good time.

And remembah that Boston Accents also customizes gear for promotions, giveaways, or pahticulah events.

The Brush Off

My dogs always shed the most during the summer months.

All it takes is a quick pat with my hand to set the fur flying - literally.
