Do you believe in magic in a young girl’s eyes?

“Character” revealed on the soccer field…

It’s been said that sports do not build character, but reveal it.
Yesterday afternoon, on a brilliant New England September Sunday, I watched my beautiful 7-year old granddaughter play her first soccer game of the season.
She ran.

She hustled.

She fell.  And got up again.

She scored her first goal ever.
