Most holiday parties take place after work, but that doesn’t always make it easy… I mean, you quite literally must go from work to the party. I wanted to show how you can go from work to your holiday party by just changing a few “pieces.” (Not doing a full wardrobe change!) There’s no need to reinvent a new look… work with what you’ve got on!
Here are 3 LOOKS:
1. The Black Sheath Dress… Head to work with your standard blazer, heels and classic jewelry…
Head to the holiday party by slipping off the blazer and tossing on a sequin shrug (or anything festive – sequins are always a hit!)… and switch the necklace for a ruffled red scarf. Everything else stays put…
2. The Pencil Skirt… Head to work in a sophisticated look with this cardigan sweater, high black boots, bangle bracelets and stunning earrings…
Head to the Holiday party by replacing the cardigan sweater with a “cozy” sweater wrap. You can twist and tie the cozy any way you want (there are over 60 ways!).
3. The cardigan wrap… head to work (if you can!) with this chic look. Leggings, scoop tee, ballet flats and funky sequin scarf… this look is much more on the LAID BACK SIDE.
Head to the holiday party by adding fabulous skinny jeans and riding boots. I love this laid back, dressed-up look… it’s holiday-chic-fabulousness!

Hi Audrey, I love your blog..I read it as often as I can. I noticed in the last group of photos here that you have brown boots paired with grey clothes–I’ve always thought you had to wear black shoes with grey….am I wrong? This is something I’ve always wondered about. Thanks for your help!
