Technology is an incredible thing and I’ve embraced it. Thanks to modern day technology, I’m a digital girl. My life revolves around the apps on my phone because they make life easier, more streamlined and more convenient. You can’t put a price on that for me, especially as a mom with 5 kids. I have everything on my phone that runs our family… schedules, activities, contacts, lists and important information. In just one click or swipe on my phone I can get information that I need. There’s something very comforting in that for me, especially since school is revving up again and I know our life as a family will get ultra busy again! We also moved to a new town this summer, so everything for us here is new, which makes having all my information for our family at my fingertips on my various apps that much more important and necessary.
One app that has been REALLY helpful for our family this summer is the CVS Pharmacy Mobile app .
This app allows you to access exclusive app-only offers for all members of the ExtraCare Rewards program, easily refill prescriptions, arrange free same-day photo pick up, and much more! Over the last month this app has been incredibly beneficial for me because I’ve been able to manage my family’s prescriptions from it. It’s been a little crazy in our house over the last month because I feel like everyone in our family has needed some sort of medical care. We’ve had ear infections, allergies, cold sores, rashes and pink eye… not to mention, a summer cold has run its course through our family (coughing, sneezing and sore throat!). We’ve been down a bit and it’s been tough! I feel like they must know me now at our new CVS Pharmacy! Great thing is that CVS Pharmacy has the MinuteClinic! You can make an appointment, view current wait times or hold your place in line through the app!
What’s been REALLY helpful for me with the CVS Pharmacy Mobile app is that I can manage my family’s prescriptions now easier than ever. With the downloaded app, I can scan our medication(s) or automatically refill our prescription, view and transfer prescriptions to a local CVS Pharmacy, set medication reminders, check for drug interactions and even pick up prescriptions by showing the CVS Pharmacy Mobile app , making the process much more private.
This is helpful because:
- I can manage everything from my phone. I don’t have to worry about keeping notebooks with all of this information or calling my doctor’s office to check on things.
- With the move this summer, not everything has been transferred to our new pharmacy, so I’m able to manage this easily.
- Refilling can be done in a flash!
- Picking up is super easy and streamlined with the app. Pick Up Rx – your barcode on your phone is scanned and everything pops up for the CVS Pharmacy team (your birthdate, ExtraCare card info and info for your prescription).
With school starting, I love that I have this CVS Pharmacy Mobile app because I know with the colder months ahead I usually frequent CVS Pharmacy quite a bit! With 5 kids, I feel like we’re always “hit” with something throughout the fall and winter. I love how EASY it is to navigate the Pharmacy for me and my family with the app. It’s no longer daunting to me to manage my family’s prescriptions and medical info, I have everything right at my fingertips! I love the privacy piece here, too – I don’t have to list off birth dates and specific prescriptions at the counter, as the info is right there saved in the app.
Make sure you take the time to check out this feature on the app. It’s incredible to be able to have access to this information right on your phone! This time of year is always so chaotic for families as everyone is getting back into a new routine, bring apps into your life to make it as easy as can be! The CVS Pharmacy Mobile app is one of them!
