This has been a summer without makeup for me. Literally. With so much going on this summer with our move and working from home 90% of the time this summer, makeup has been on the sidelines! As a matter of fact – I hadn’t even unpacked my makeup till last week. I had my 1st work trip since June and I really wanted to make sure I didn’t scare people on TV without a little makeup! LOL! I’m all about finding a Daily Beauty Routine that works for me and my skin and in all honesty – I feel like it goes without saying that I need a summer of NO MAKEUP. None. Nada. Zilch.

Daily Beauty Routine: A Summer without Makeup

For me personally wearing no makeup has been awesome this summer. It’s given my skin a chance to breath and it’s just been nice having a totally simple beaut routine. I’m a big makeup lover, so this has been a crazy summer for me! I’m used to buying new makeup every week… I love trying new colors and new products. This summer I just didn’t have the chance to do it! I was packing and unpacking, packing and unpacking and then packing and unpacking again! I had my hair on top of my head in a top knot, no makeup… a summer of minimal beauty at its finest a summer with a daily beauty routine.

I did have a daily beauty routine, though it was very simple.

First up… I love my Olay Regenernist!

I’m a lover of a fabulous moisturizer and this one has been my fave for a long time now! I love how soft it is on my skin and how lightweight it is, too! There’s something very comforting about knowing the product that you’re using works! I love anything I can do to help the aging clock on my skin!

Next up this summer after my moisturizer… my NARS Laguna Liquid Bronzer. This has been my foundation and bronzer replacement! Instead of adding layer upon layer to my cheeks, I’m just adding the liquid right on! Best part it adds that fabulous tan, but also a gorgeous glow!

And then… since I’m all about a super, duper easy summer on the daily beauty routine front – my hair ways have been easy, too! Dry Shampoo has been my friend ALL SUMMER long! I’m obsessed with a quick spray, rub and go!! Dove has some exceptional options on the Dry Shampoo front that I’ve loved!! Not to mention… they smell great, too! The best for me has been the fullness and volume! Love it!

My daily beauty routine for the summer is simple as can be! Can’t get better than that, right? With fall upon us, I’m excited to get back into my makeup days, but it’s been heavenly enjoying a summer of makeup free skin! Mom beauty Routines are personal for everyone and they really do work well once you have one down!
