We’re having a blast here in Greater Williamsburg! There’s so much to do and it’s been really fun trying to get it all in before we head back home! As you guys know, I love to chronicle our days on YouTube… family travel is always fun because it really does give a good inside peek as to what’s going on for us!

Yesterday we spent the day visiting Colonial Williamsburg, which was just spectacular!

I love learning about history, so this was a big treat for me! I visited when I was a kid, but I don’t remember too much… so it was great getting a refresher! I honestly couldn’t believe how much there was to do there with the kids! What I love even more is that the boys are learning about a ton of this in school right now, so it’s also very relevant for them. To be there and actually see the men and women walking around in the traditional clothing, cooking, baking, creating, working, building – it was extraordinary. You really just step back in time and take it all in. One of my fave stops of the trip!

And then – what the boys have been dying to do ALL WEEK – BUSCH GARDENS!! Oh, yes!! Off we went and the kids had an AWESOME TIME!!!!!!! My sons are thrill seekers when it comes to rides, so they thoroughly enjoyed going on anything and everything that would make you scream! Victoria enjoyed the “little kid” rides (as she kept calling them). I loved how there really was something for everyone in the family to do! We were all happy and satisfied!
