Indoor Waterpark Fun at Kalahari Resorts – Day 2

Kalahari Resort in the Poconos was a HUGE hit for our family this past weekend! It was truly just what we need, time together having fun! We were non-stop and just had the most incredible weekend! It’s funny, every single muscle in my body hurts today – which is a sign that I was definitely having fun! I rode every slide with my sons and played in Kiddie Land with my daughter, so I was in constant motion. We literally spent a majority of the time while we were there at the waterpark, I mean – why not, right!?

If you’ve never heard of Kalahari Resorts, let me share some information about this wonderland!

Experience America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark at 220,000 sq. ft. featuring a retractable roof, stand-up surfing or body boarding on the FlowRider, the twists and turns of the Anaconda and Swahili Swirl waterslides, relaxing lazy river and indoor/outdoor family hot tub, ride the waves in the wave pool or experiences tons of activities for the little ones and much, much more!

Settle into one of our 977 beautifully appointed guest Rooms & Suites, take in one of our many incredible Dining options, enjoy the fast-paced action in the Family Entertainment Center, or rejuvenate at Spa Kalahari and Salon.

The Convention Center at Kalahari features 65,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space for events both large and small, along with award-winning catering and state-of-the-art technology to make your next event unforgettable.

I was truly blown away by how big the resort was, I wasn’t expecting it to be so massive! It was so wonderful because you could tell it was full, but you never felt like to was crowded! I know that’s funny to say, but it’s true. I never felt like it was too crowded, which is something I loved about it.

Every time we go away on vacation we take video footage. I love to capture as many moments as I possibly can, and the fun part now is giving my 4 sons a camera, too. They grab footage that always makes me laugh! They get stuff that I wouldn’t think of getting and it’s always so funny! Check out our family day at Kalahari on Saturday…

Non-stop, as you can see!

I loved taking the boys by myself to the waterpark because it was so much fun to just run around with them. It’s important for me to make sure I spend time with them without Victoria because they are completely different ages. Victoria could only stay in the Kiddle Land, whereas my sons could go on EVERYTHING! We really embraced the night!
