When You Wish Upon A Star ~

All of my Christmas decorations are gone, but for my tiny trees scattered around my house, their twinkling lights making winter nights cozy.

And the Christmas tree in our family room, bare but for my Angel and 6 Stars (one for each of our 4 kids and their families/one for my husband and me/and another to Wish Upon for anyone who enters our home) hovering at the top, toward the sky, Heaven, the universe, a place of mystery and magic and to me, a place where dreams begin their journeys into our hearts and then back again to make them come true…

If we believe.

My favorite line from the most famous song When You Wish Upon A Star is, “If your heart is in your dream.”

Millions of people around the world will be Wishing Wishes as 2017 comes into their lives, their hearts, their Dreams in just a few days from now.

Loud dreams. Silent dreams. Big dreams. Tiny dreams. Possible dreams. Extreme dreams.

The key, as Walt Disney truly knew, is that your heart must be in your dream.

Dreams are for wishers.

Dreams are for believers in sweet fulfillment.

Dreams are for heart desirers.

Dreams are for believers in a kind fate.

Dreams are for believers in bolts out of the blue.

Dreams are for believers in makes no difference who you are.

Dreams are for believers in Wishing Upon Stars.

Find a Star in the sky tonight. Find an Star in a book. Find a Star ornament. Grab a Star cookie! Mold a Star from Play-Doh with your kids. Look at it. Feel it. Believe in it. Put your heart into that Star and make a wish.
