I changed about 100 times last night before heading out. OK, not 100 times, but close to 4 or 5. I was heading to Providence to attend the Project Undercover Event, an incredible organization in Rhode Island that works exclusively to reduce the diaper need. The attire of the event is always business casual, so I knew I couldn’t show up in jeans… but I truly couldn’t decide what to wear. I wanted something stylish. I wanted something chic. I wanted something comfortable. I wanted something that if I sweat like a crazy lady (it’s super hot here), nobody would be able to tell! I also knew I had to work for an hour during the night, so I needed to make sure I could balance a laptop comfortably on my legs, too!

Since I’m obsessed with summer skirts this year, I opted for my new Poplin one from ZARA.

It was super comfortable and I loved that I had pockets, too! I’m only 5 feet, so whenever I wear a mid-length skirt, I always need to pop it up with heels. I need to create the illusion of extreme height! LOL!

I had a ton of complements last night on my skirt asking me where I got it… ZARA is my go-to for skirts and dresses! They also have this skirt in a gorgeous floral print, too!

I thought it was an easy and perfect go-to style for a summer night!
