Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA is one of the most gorgeous places on earth (to me). Every time I’m there, I feel all my stresses in life just melt away. It is – truly – my happy place. I’m telling you right now – if you’re traveling to Massachusetts ANYTIME during the year, this is the place you want to go!! Hands down – no questions asked! Chatham Bars Inn is IT!

Fortunately I have married a man who feels exactly the same way about Chatham, MA, so when it came time to book a special spot for our 15 year wedding anniversary, it was a NO BRAINER for us. Chatham, MA it was! We have never been away without our kids – this was a first, so we wanted romantic, luxury and fabulous!

We chose the Chatham Bars Inn. I asked my friends on Facebook what people would recommend, 90% of the people (hands down) said Chatham Bars Inn. It was perfect. From the second we arrived, it was like we were in heaven! Everything was gorgeous. Everything was grand. Everything was just beautiful.

The Historic Main Inn, Cottage Rooms and Spa Suites of Chatham Bars Inn all have something different to offer our guests. The Main Inn was first built in 1914 and has been painstakingly restored to provide elegance at every turn. The Cottage Rooms and Suites provide pristine views of Cape Cod and offer privacy and luxurious amenities. For the ultimate in true tranquility, pamper yourself in one of our Spa Suites. All rooms include: flat screen televisions, Bose Wave radios, luxurious linens, L’Occitane bath amenities, lush bathrobes, hair dryer, central air and Nespresso coffeemakers.

Chatham Bars Inn – Room Tour. I wanted to give you a solid idea of what our room looked like so the second we arrived, I took out the video camera! I wanted to make sure I captured everything! I’m always asked about the size and the feel of the rooms there and I felt like this video gives a really good idea of what it is that you’re getting while there.

It’d truly the views and the ambiance that is priceless. We couldn’t get over how every view was just breathtaking for us. It’s luxury all the way. We’re not used to doing luxury, but it didn’t feel ritsy and snotty. It felt like laid back Cape Cod, but truly at a luxurious place. I’m telling you – I couldn’t get enough and I just loved it so much!! This is definitely a spot for you to add to your list!

I wanted to make sure I gave you a good view of the resort at night and during the day. It’s just as beautiful at both. I love living in New England, but being here really seals the deal for me. It’s just beauty and elegance and you can’t beat the gorgeous views. The views are what make this resort so stunning. They are just beautiful. You feel so at ease and relaxed and every worry washed away. It’s like being in a fairy tale for me and I just adore it so much!! I love love love how I feel when I’m there!

It was just nice being away just the two of us! We don’t do this enough and it’s something that I wish we did more often. It’s nice to just be away and laugh and talk and be with each other. Our lives are so revolved around our kids, so it’s nice to just be with each other and enjoy the company!

Dining experiences were spot on, too! We indulged at every restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed and savored every meal! You can’t go wrong with eating on property. The food and the ambiance is barnone.

My favorite spot?

The pool. Relaxing and sippying yummy drinks was all I needed!

My husband?

He loved the beach and heading out to the sandbar! The resort has free shuttles to the sandbar. We walked around, Matt flew his drone and I laid out under the sun!

I can’t say enough.

We will be back, that’s for sure. A anniversary weekend tradition just may have been born!

Again Chatham Bars Inn is the place to stay when you visit Chatham, MA. It’s pricey, YES. But I’m going to tell you right now – it’s worth every single penny. I was worried about spending so much – it was a little over $500/night, but we LIVED IT UP. We took advantage of the beauty and the features of the resort and just didn’t leave. You can definitely save some money by eating light bites and not a full course meal, but regardless of how you do it – you will love Chatham Bars Inn!
