Today is my 14th Wedding Anniversary! I’ll say it right here, right now – I love Matt more than anything in the world. The last 14 years have been the best years of my life. We are a team in every aspect of the word. We support each other. We love each other. We push each other. We challenge each other. We are best friends and there’s nobody else in this world I would rather be on this journey with in this lifetime.

When it comes to our anniversary, we HATE to spend money. We do. We really don’t need anything and we don’t want to spend frivolous money – that’s not smart (especially with 5 kids!). So when it comes to gifts, we decided years ago to always get each other something FREE and from the HEART.

So.. every year – I’d say for the last 5 years – we’ve made each other something.

We take the time to sit and create a “masterpiece” of something for each other.

This year we both did videos (which we didn’t know each other were doing – talk about soul mates!).

When it comes to Best Anniversary Gifts without spending a penny, go for a video montage. It’s special and it’s a true expression and meaning of our love to each other because we took the time. It’s very easy to buy something, but it’s not to easy to put tender, love and care into a gift. If you have iMovie, you can EASILY create a movie at home. Just find music you want to put it to and then add in photos and videos! VIOLA!
