The EMMY Awards were absolutely incredible.
Incredible.
When Keurig asked me to attend and be part of their Keurig experience in Hollywood for the EMMYS, I jumped! Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve ALWAYS loved red carpet events. The fashion. The celebrities. The Hollywood glitz and glam. I’ve always loved it all. There’s something about being in the center of it all that is just beyond cool. Even just being in L.A. during the EMMY build-up was exciting. L.A. is a total showbiz “town,” so you can see the excitement and the anticipation everywhere.
Keurig was BEYOND generous to invite 5 of us to L.A. and enjoy a weekend of EMMY fun. Vera, Natalie, Ruth, Meg and me all were dazzled and truly excited for the engagement and the EMMY fabulousness!
Yesterday we had the opportunity to head to the red carpet and see the celebrities as they walked into the theater to enjoy the EMMY Awards.
I’ve never been THIS close to the red carpet. As someone who lives and breaths for fashion, this was a pinch-me-moment. When I worked for fashion designer Donna Karan after college, I remember the shows were about seeing if anyone wore our dresses. Now for me (12 years later), I’m at home watching the pre-shows and watching the shows and looking like crazy to see who the celebrities are wearing and how they look. I then will tweet and share my opinions on Twitter and enjoy the fashion and red carpet conversation.
Well… I got to be a conversation starter yesterday, thanks to Keurig.
The celebrities were a mere feet away and I got to be up, close and personal. It was… my goodness, there are no words! It was BEYOND INCREDIBLE!
