I did something the last 2 days that I haven’t done in a very, very LONG time… I took a blogging break. Usually I blog about 3-4 times a day… it’s what I LOVE to do, so I really don’t think anything of it.

But… I needed to blog-unplug for the last couple of days. I needed to hang with my family. I needed to enjoy the holiday. I needed to just take a blogging vacation (yes, 2 days does count). 😉

There’s one thing I enjoy about the end of a year… reflecting and truly spending times with the ones you love.

I got to do that this past week. I spent time with friends from home. I spent time with my family. And I got to spend time with Vera Sweeney and her family (my other blogging partner in crime!).

Vera and I talk about 10 times a day… easily.

I “dream” of moving to NYC and being closer to her and many of my work things, but with 5 kids… well, that just “ain’t” going to happen.

We celebrated our 3rd full year of working together last night with a fun Getting Gorgeous Holiday Party…

We’re having some fun planning out 2014 and enjoy the company together!!
