P&G Announces Collaboration with American Academy of Pediatrics to Continue Household Safety Awareness and Education Program
I have loved sharing and updating my readers on Household Safety tips and advice from P&G’s HomeMadeSimple.com.
It’s wonderful to be able to have a resource for parents to go to for such important things such as safety in your home. They also have so much for parents, too – and it makes the site so unique and such a great destination.
I’m excited to share today that P&G is collaborating with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to equip parents with the info and tools they need to keep their homes and families safe and happy. Since the AAP is dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults and reaches 80% of U.S. parents, P&G thought they’d be an ideal partner for their ongoing education efforts.
In the coming months, P&G and AAP will release a number of educational materials designed to further educate and keep parents informed and prepared. Content containing general home safety tips, as well as specific information on how to keep various areas of the home safe and secure, will be created and posted on HealthyChildren.org, the AAP’s parenting website. Also, the organizations will work together to develop patient brochures that will be distributed to pediatricians across the country as another resource to help educate parents.
I love this effort and in what P&G and AAP is giving to parents out there.
BRAVO!!!!!
