U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team taking gold for the 1st time since 1996!
It was like seeing magic happen!
I sat watching the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team take gold Tuesday night with tears in my eyes. These 5 incredible ladies all performed their hearts out and hit every routine. You could see the passion in their eyes. You could feel the fire in their bellies. These ladies wanted GOLD. And they went for it and they got it.
When they WON GOLD… as everyone was watching the ladies, I wanted to see their moms.
I wanted to see the pride.
I wanted to see the love.
I wanted to see it all.
These are the women who have been there every single step of the way. These are the women who have made sacrifices to help their daughters achieve their goals. These are the women who have dreamt the bigger dreams with their daughters.
To say the GOLDEN moment was special is quite the understatement.
