When I was in NYC in May with P&G for their “Thank you, Mom” Media Day, there was one mom-and-daughter duo that made my heart soar.

It was the relationship between Diana Lopez, U.S. Olympian in Taekwondo, and her mother, Ondina.

They sat hand-in-hand throughout the press conference answering questions together and smiling and just adoring each other. As someone watching them, their relationship with each other was just beautiful. There was such love there and such friendship and such devotion to each other.

It was one of those moment’s that you don’t forget.

It was at that moment I became one of Diana Lopez’s biggest fans.

And… oh, yes, I love the fact that it’s a family thing – Diana and her 3 brothers all compete. Her brother Steven with her and their mother at the P&G Family Home in London!

I just loved seeing this video of the Lopez family from the P&G Family Home.

They’re such an inspirational family. And I personally just can’t express enough how much I admire and love the relationship they have with their mother.
