One beautiful evening of 40 Under Forty…

Last night, Audrey was honored as a 40 Under Forty recipient by the Providence Business News as a founder and dynamic force behind Mom Generations. The event was held at the beautiful International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI… and the evening and the event was as gorgeous as gorgeous can be.

Barry and I are so very proud of Audrey, and our family came out to join in the celebration. Our son Keith is a 40 Under Forty alum, having been honored in 2006 as an owner and business leader at our family business Barrington Printing, and it was fun to see so many of the alums return to welcome another group of 40 young professionals who have excelled in their fields and made community involvement a commitment.

(Above photo l-r: daughter-in-law Nicole, Keith, Adam, Audrey, Jane, me, Matthew, Barry) Our daughter-in-law Aimee was home with their children after a last-moment babysitting dilemma. And I must add that Audrey and Matthew did very well in leaving their 4 little guys with a non-family sitter for the first time ever… and kudos to Miss Beth for a job WELL DONE! 4 little guys is no easy task!

Congratulations to each Providence Business News 40 Under Forty 2009 Honoree!

  1. Sharon, I saw the photos early this morning on Barry’s page and was just awed at your WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL and HAPPYand PROUD family, all together for this exciting event.

I had seen in PBN (we advertise so my boss gets a copy of the publication) that Audrey was to be feted as a “Forty Under Forty” honoree. I was so excited for her and for you.

Congratulations to all of you. You must be exceedingly proud. And belated congrats to Keith! In hadn’t known he was an alumnus.

I must add that Audrey looks pretty amazing for being the young mother of four, count ’em four, children.

And you my dear are beyond stunning. You look absolutely fantastic. Bravo!

    What a night!

    Love, Connie

  2. What a wonderful award!
I just looked at the photos on Jane’s facebook, and I have to say that if I had your curves now, let alone at your age, I would wear that black dress ALL THE TIME. Because you are seriously smokin’ hot.

  3. Congratulations to Audrey.

You must to be so proud to have another child be honored in such a way.

    Beautiful family photo.

  4. Congrats to Audrey! That is such an honor. Your whole family is just picture perfect! I can see where they get their beauty from. It’s great that she found a sitter. I don’t think Steph has ever left her 4 with a non family sitter before either. It’s good to have one on hand.
